We allow our users to engage in an activity that they take for granted, such as shopping online, or
searching for information, and turn it into an action to support important charitable causes.

Using our web-site, our community can channel advertising dollars to charities, schools and other other organizations.  Without our community, 0% will be contributed to support these institutions.  As a result, we see our charity model as a very positive way to use the Internet.

2) What are your goals for giving?

Our target is to contibute 40% of the profits of Starttogive.com, LLC to charities and orgainizations we support.

To accomplish this, we need the help of an active, growing user community.

3) What makes your site different from other charity web-sites?

We are distinguishing Starttogive.com in several areas.

• Our site is free to use, and doesn’t require any contribution on the part of users.  Given the difficult economic environment, people can still make charitable contributions without pressuring their finances.
• Starttogive.com can create customized programs to support leading local or regional organizations.

4) Is Starttogive.com a for-profit company?

Starttogive.com is a for-profit advertising company, with a charitable objective.

5) Why did you choose to donate 40% of profits?

Donating 40% of profits, allows us to make sustainable, ongoing contributions, while continuing
to support our growth.

Long-term, we need to build a successful advertising business to achieve our charitable goals.

6) Where does the other 60% of profits go?

The company reinvests its profits in order to build our technology platform, develop relationships with advertising partners, and fund our operations.

Building awareness of the company through advertising or sponsoring events are also part of developing of our business.

As our company grows, we expect to increase the amounts we can contribute.

7) How can I help to grow the community?

The best way is to visit the sites you normally would through Starttogive.com.  Making purchases through E-Bay, or Amazon, or visiting our sponsor sites is all it takes.

In addition, creating goodwill will be an important part of building the community.   Please e-mail as many of your friends and family that you think would be interested in supporting the site.

9) Why are pages not functioning my work computer?

Many corporate networks block the functionality of certain sites such as Youtube, or Ebay.  As a result,
many of our featured content partners will be blocked on corporate firewalls.

However, even in a corporate environment, with content blocking, our Google search feature will typically continue to function.

10) Why should I register for the free newsletter?

Our newsletter allows us to easily communicate with our members and keep you up to date on our charitable activities and the organizations we support.
